Growing up, I remember my mom putting a can of spaghetti and meatballs in front of me with a can opener and a fork. Since then I've had to unlearn my habits of eating and learn where food really comes from (not a can!). Back in 2010, my husband, daughters and I learned about the commercial food industry and decided that we weren't going to eat meat from animals inhumanely raised in tight quarters or produce full of chemical fillers and processed to the point where most nutrition is lost.
We started homesteading our new farm that very year and saw an immediate improvement in our health. Our energy started increasing and our ailments started fading away. While I experienced the effect clean whole foods has on health, I decided to better understand it and expand on my knowledge base as an ER Nurse to that of a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner.
I have now had the privilege of working with many individuals who regained their health when other providers said it would be impossible. People who were told there was nothing they could do but cover up their symptoms with prescription medications. These same individuals are now enjoying life and doing what they love. Such stories are why I do what I do, and why I’m driven to keep helping and teaching people what I know.
